Considered one of the most influential figures in human history, Charles Darwin was a naturalist, geologist, and biologist. He is most well-known for his work in evolution, where he proposed that natural selection was responsible for the many branches in evolution.

HAYAT ALSINDI
Hayat alSindi was the first Saudi woman to complete a doctoral degree in biotechnology. In addition to her work as a visiting scholar at Harvard University and a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, AlSindi also founded or co-founded three companies, each dedicated to point-of-care medical treatment and making medical testing more accessible.

MARY JACKSON
Mary Jackson became NASA's first black female engineer in 1958. In order to do so, she personally petitioned the city of Hampton to allow her to take graduate-level classes at an all-white school in order to be able to be promoted to aerospace engineer.

George Washington Carver was an American agricultural scientist and inventor who developed hundreds of products using peanuts, sweet potatoes, and soybeans. NAVAJO CODE TALKERS
The Navajo Code Talkers were employed by the military during wartime to use a little-known language as a means of secret communication. These US service members who used their knowledge of Native American languages as a basis to transmit coded messages.
